HISTORY
The Mongolian Evangelical Alliance (MEA) was founded in 1992, when the arrival of democracy in Mongolia opened the way for churches to operate freely. Its first founders were the leaders of the newly established evangelical churches in the country.
Since its founding, MEA has been the united voice and the coordinating body of the Mongolian evangelical movement. Today it works with more than 625 member churches and organisations.

MEA is the single united body that represents the evangelical churches of Mongolia, defends their interests and coordinates their shared work. The Alliance works alongside international evangelical alliances and organisations.
A member of international bodies such as the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) and the Asia Evangelical Alliance (AEA).
Works together with the Government of Mongolia, its ministries and agencies.
Works in partnership with non-governmental organisations and community movements.
