The General Assembly is the Alliance's highest decision-making body, and every member church and organisation is represented in it. The Assembly elects the members of the Board of Directors, approves the Alliance's policy and direction, reviews reports and amends the statutes. Meeting at fixed intervals, it sets the main course of the Alliance's work.
